Project Management

The project management stage, involves firstly preparing tender documentation, which is then sent to a number of contractors (usually three), inviting them to quote for the job. Where works are not carried out by me personally, contractors will be chosen from a carefully selected number of firms, whose workmanship and professionalism have been previously proven.

This stage of the project will be overseen by me, who will act as liaison between client and contractor and approve stage payments to the contractor and signing off the project upon completion.

Planting plans are produced for the entire garden, or specific areas as appropriate, showing the species of plants recommended and their positioning, spacing and number required. The plants will be supplied at my own discretion, unless otherwise requested. These will be sourced from carefully selected nurseries in a bid to offer the client, plants of the highest standard at competitive prices. Once the hard landscaping has been completed (i.e. the construction stage) the soft landscaping will begin (i.e. the delivery of plants). Plants will be delivered and laid out according to the planting plan, ready for me or the contractor to plant.
